The story
Ngarutua Estate is a family-run farm located in Embu County on the southeastern slopes of Mt. Kenya. It was established in the 1940s by Paul Muthathai Ngarutua, and the family began planting coffee on the land in 1958 after it became legal for native Kenyans to do so.
