The farms are managed by a collective of four women producers, including Carmen Lúcia Chaves de Brito, who took over her family's century-old coffee business after a career in academia. The collective was formed to highlight the harmony of coffee flavor profiles from their respective farms. These producers are based in the Sul de Minas region of Brazil.
