The Calderón family are coffee producers and micro-mill operators based in Santa María de Dota, Tarrazú, Costa Rica. Their network includes Ortiz 1800 and six other farms; Omar Calderón manages the farms, while his sisters Yoanna, Diana, and Yoxise run the Los Angeles micro-mill.

In the early 2000s, the family left the Coopedota cooperative and built Los Angeles, one of the region’s early private micro-mills, giving them direct control of processing and roaster relationships.
