The Duromina Cooperative is a prominent coffee producer group based in the Jimma Zone of western Ethiopia, near the town of Agaro. The name 'Duromina' translates to 'improve their lives' in the Afan Oromo language, reflecting the cooperative's mission to elevate the quality of life for its members through high-quality coffee production.

Formed in 2010 by a group of over 100 farmers, the cooperative was established to move away from the region's historical reputation for low-quality natural processed coffee. By partnering with the TechnoServe Coffee Initiative, the members gained access to training and financing, allowing them to transition to fully washed processing. This shift helped put the Jimma region on the map for high-quality, specialty-grade Ethiopian coffee.
