Smallholder farmers on Gaharo Hill in Muramvya, Burundi, deliver ripe coffee cherries to Bukeye washing station, the first station built by Long Miles Coffee Project. The documented SEY lot combines coffee grown between 1,700 and 2,100 meters.

History

Gaharo Hill is where the Long Miles Coffee Project began. Farmers helped clear the Bukeye station site and make bricks from valley clay, and farmers from the same community continue delivering cherries there.
