

Néstor Neffer Lasso Zuñiga; Mustefa Abakeno
Néstor Neffer Lasso Zuñiga is a prominent Colombian coffee producer based in Pitalito, Huila, recognized for his leadership at Finca El Diviso. Alongside his brother Adrian Lasso and partner Jhoan Vergara, he has transformed his family's traditional coffee operations into a globally recognized specialty coffee project. Mustefa Abakeno is a separate producer and exporter based in Beshasha, Agaro, Ethiopia, who manages 18 hectares of coffee and operates local washing stations.

Néstor Lasso grew up in Normandía, Huila, and transitioned from commodity coffee production to specialty coffee after taking over the family farm approximately five years ago. He received training from the Colombian coffee school SENA and partnered with his brother and Jhoan Vergara to form the collaborative El Diviso project. His work focuses on experimental processing and the cultivation of rare varieties to meet the demands of international specialty markets.
