Nestor Lasso is a young, visionary coffee producer based in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia, who has gained international recognition for his focus on specialty coffee and experimental processing. Alongside his brother Adrian and partner Jhoan Vergara, he operates the El Diviso farm and has become a prominent figure in the global specialty coffee scene. He is part of a new generation of Colombian producers dedicated to quality-focused production and professionalizing the coffee industry.

History

Five years ago, Nestor and his brother Adrian shifted their family farm's focus from traditional production to specialty coffee. They partnered with Jhoan Vergara to combine their respective farms, El Diviso and Las Flores, into a collaborative project near Pitalito. Through training with SENA and partnerships with exporters like Cata Export, they have developed highly refined processing methods that have made their coffees staples on the world stage.
