Henao’s reputation in the specialty coffee industry was cemented when he achieved the title of Champion at the 2020 Cup of Excellence, a prestigious recognition that highlighted his ability to produce exceptional lots. The trajectory of Henao’s career has been marked by both significant achievement and resilience. Following his 2020 competition success, Henao faced regional security challenges that necessitated the sale of his previous farm in 2022. Despite this disruption, his commitment to the industry remained steadfast. In 2024, he returned to active production by acquiring Finca El Jardín, a 15-hectare estate that serves as the current platform for his agricultural and processing experiments.
