El Mirador

The story

El Mirador is a farm located in Huila, Colombia, with some operations managed by Elkin Guzman, whose family has been involved in coffee cultivation, trading, and retail for over 70 years. The farm has grown significantly over time, with some sites reported as 32 hectares in size. Other producers, such as Octavio Rueda and Alonso Bustos, also operate farms under the name El Mirador in different parts of Colombia.

Innovations

The farm is noted for its extensive collection of coffee varieties and the use of advanced processing techniques, including lactic and acetic fermentation, as well as carbonic maceration.
