The story

The farm was purchased in 1971 by Antonio Pereira Filho and Maria da Conceição Costa Pereira, who planted the first coffee seedlings. Following their father's passing, their daughters, Maria Valéria and Maria Rogéria, assumed management of the estate. They chose to maintain the property as a single unit under joint administration, renaming it from Serrado to Fazenda Irmãs Pereira to reflect their partnership.

The farm faces ongoing needs to adapt to changing drying conditions and environmental factors to maintain quality.

Innovations

The estate operates a large, centralized processing station that serves both the farm and neighboring properties, utilizing mechanical separators and prioritizing raised African beds to improve airflow during drying.
