The story

Eladio Chamba previously sold coffee into local blends. In 2015 he bought a small depulper and began processing washed coffee on the farm, opening a path to specialty buyers. Counter Culture first purchased his coffee in 2016.

Innovations

For the 2025 lot, pulped coffee underwent 30 hours of oxygen-free fermentation in a sealed drum with an airlock, then was washed and dried on raised beds.
