The story

Coffee production in the region is relatively young, with significant development beginning in the late 20th century. The coffee from this specific community is the result of a decade-long partnership between the smallholder farmers in Yunnan’s Pu’er Prefecture and Torch. This collaboration was established to focus on trust, transparency, and shared experimentation in coffee production.

The community engages in collaborative work regarding farming, processing, and post-harvest techniques, including the use of anaerobic processing and raised-bed drying methods.
