Behind The Leaf
Behind the Leaf is a specialty coffee project based in Myanmar that partners with the Pa-O people to resurrect and manage coffee farms. The organization focuses on providing agricultural education and fair wages to independent farmers while introducing their coffee to the global market.
History
The project began in 2016 as an experiment to support the Pa-O people in the mist-shrouded mountains of Myanmar. Since its inception, the team has worked to improve coffee management practices and establish a market for local coffee cherries.
