Gilbert Gatali
Gilbert Gatali is a prominent figure in the Rwandan specialty coffee sector and the owner of the Intango washing station. He is a seasoned industry professional who currently serves as the Executive Director of the African Fine Coffees Association (AFCA). His work focuses on sustainability, market access, and enhancing the value chain for smallholder farmers.

Gatali began his coffee career in 2006 as the East Africa Manager for Sustainable Harvest. He later co-founded RWASHOSCCO, Rwanda's first farmer-owned specialty coffee export company, and served as Managing Director of KZ Noir Ltd. In 2017, he and his business partner Gervais took over the Intango washing station, which had previously been part of a cooperative that won the 2014 Rwanda Cup of Excellence.
