History

Originally purchased by Rudolph A. Peterson in 1967, the estate initially focused on cattle and dairy production, with coffee cultivation dating back to 1890. In the mid-1980s, the family shifted their focus toward specialty coffee, expanding their holdings to include the Palmira and Jaramillo farms. In 2004, the farm gained international fame after discovering the exceptional quality of the Geisha variety growing on their land.
