Working alongside his father, Pepe Jijón, and partner Francisco Vintimilla, he focuses on high-elevation coffee cultivation in the Loja region. His approach is characterized by a deep passion for coffee and a commitment to producing clean, elegant, and complex lots.

Jose Jijón began his journey in coffee by partnering with his father, Pepe, and Francisco Vintimilla to establish Fincas del Putushio. This project represents a new planting effort where they applied lessons learned from previous farm developments to a high-elevation site in Loja. The inaugural release from this farm was introduced to the specialty market around 2024.
