Kamwangi Cooperative
Kamwangi is a prominent coffee factory (washing station) located in the Kirinyaga County of Kenya, situated on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya. It serves as a central processing hub for thousands of smallholder farmers who deliver their hand-picked cherries for high-quality washed processing.

Established in 1982, the Kamwangi factory has grown to become a vital processing site in the Gichugu Division. Unlike many other stations in the region that have seen declining deliveries, Kamwangi has maintained and grown its production volume through consistent farmer support and quality management. It currently operates as one of three active processing sites under the New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society.
