History

The family's coffee journey began at the turn of the 20th century when Robert Lamastus arrived in Panama to work on the Panama Canal before founding Elida Estate in 1918. Over the last century, the family has expanded their operations to include multiple estates, including El Burro and Luito, while transitioning into roasting and exporting their own coffee.
