Lost Origin Coffee Lab is a specialized coffee processing facility based in Panama City, founded by Franz Zeimetz and Andy Typalos. Lost Origin Coffee Lab was established in January 2023. The founders, Franz Zeimetz and Andy Typalos, leveraged their backgrounds in craft beer brewing to develop a scientific approach to coffee fermentation. They source unprocessed coffee cherries from established Panamanian farms and transport them to their Panama City laboratory for processing.
