The Kii Factory is a prominent coffee processing station located in Kirinyaga County, Kenya, at the foot of Mount Kenya. It operates as a central hub for hundreds of smallholder farmers who deliver their hand-picked cherries for meticulous washed processing. The factory is managed by the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, which is widely recognized for its commitment to quality and consistency in the specialty coffee industry.

Coffee cultivation in the area began in the 1950s, and the Kii factory itself was established in 1965. Following the dissolution of the Ngariama Cooperative in 1997, local farmers reorganized to form the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, which took over the management of the Kii, Karimikui, and Kiangoi factories. Today, the cooperative continues to operate as a democratic organization governed by an elected board.
