Badigalo

The story

Badagalo is a farm located in the sub-village of Murago within the Bensa district of Sidama, Ethiopia. It is operated by producer Basha Bekele, who manages the cultivation and processing of coffee on the land.

Innovations

The farm utilizes a meticulous natural processing method where cherries are hand-picked, floated, and sorted before being dried on raised African beds under mesh for 23 to 28 days. Additionally, Basha Bekele operates his own milling facility in Bombe to process the coffee prior to export.
