Buena Vista

The story

Buena Vista is a coffee farm located in the San Miguel village of Planadas, Tolima, Colombia. The farm is managed by producer Astrid Medina alongside her husband, Raul Antonio Duran. The farm was founded in 2005.

Challenges

Historically, the farm faced significant logistical difficulties in transporting coffee to the city center, which previously required the use of mules or manual labor by family members and neighbors.

Innovations

The farm has been recognized for producing coffee with high levels of fruitiness and bright acidity, which was considered a unique profile for the region at the time of its discovery by international roasters.
