The story

Producer Jesus Aguirre began his coffee farming journey working alongside his father. After developing a curious mind for the craft, he eventually took over the family farm and has focused on coffee production ever since. His family remains his primary source of inspiration for his work on the farm.

Challenges

The farm experiences cold temperatures overnight, which can impact the growing environment. The producer also notes a need for greater industry recognition for the labor-intensive work performed by small-scale farmers.

Innovations

The farm is currently expanding its infrastructure by adding more raised beds to improve drying consistency. Additionally, the producer has recently begun planting Geisha coffee trees to diversify the farm's offerings.
