Finca Arashi

The story

Finca Arashi is managed by Abel Salinas, a first-generation coffee grower and the fifth of twelve siblings. Salinas began his journey in coffee by planting his first trees in 2016 and now oversees approximately 22,000 coffee trees across 7 hectares of land.

Innovations

The farm utilizes greenhouse structures for drying coffee, where cherries are dried with constant movement to ensure even moisture content. Processing techniques include specific fermentation protocols, such as 24-hour dry fermentation for washed lots and 48-hour dry fermentation for natural lots.
