Finca El Jardín

The story

Finca El Jardín is located in Planadas, Tolima, and is managed by Jorge Elias Rojas Vasquez. Jorge began his journey in coffee at age 13, eventually inheriting a portion of his father's land and expanding the farm by purchasing neighboring property. He operates the farm alongside his siblings, who are actively involved in field production.

Challenges

In 2014, the farm faced significant difficulties due to low coffee market prices and challenging personal circumstances.

Innovations

The farm focuses on quality production and has invested in building a wet mill to process coffee cherries from neighboring farms. Jorge also manages his own coffee brand, La Roca State, and engages in roasting.
