Finca La Palestina

The story

Finca La Palestina is a collection of individual parcels located in the San José del Alto area of Cajamarca, Peru. The farm was established nearly 50 years ago and is currently managed by the third generation of the Alarcón Coronel family.

Challenges

The farm operates in a remote mountainous region, and the family notes that coffee trees typically require three or more years to reach desired productivity levels.

The farm utilizes a centralized wet mill where family members oversee fermentation and drying operations to maintain quality across their various parcels.
