Green Land Coffee Estate
Editorial illustration ยท not a verified farm photograph
This is a research profile, not an independently conducted farm visit. Producer and coffee relationships are shown only when the records agree. Check the research sources below for supporting evidence.
The story
The estate was acquired in 1998, with the first coffee trees planted in 1999. Owner U Sai Wan Maing has since expanded the farm to over 400 acres and was recognized as an Outstanding Coffee Grower by the FAO in 2003.
Challenges
Small farms in the region often face low yields that make it difficult to cover production costs, though the estate itself is one of the largest in the country.
Innovations
The farm utilizes an on-site Pinhalense wet-mill and employs advanced irrigation techniques, including solar and engine-driven pumps with rain gun and drip systems.

Published coffees linked to this farm
For blends, a farm may be named for one documented component without growing the entire coffee. These catalog relationships do not independently verify every lot, harvest or producer. See individual coffee profiles for traceability evidence.
