Suspiros

The story

Suspiros is managed by Libardo Pepicano, who is part of a movement of quality-focused coffee producers in Colombia. The farm gained recognition for its commitment to reviving specific coffee varieties that had fallen out of favor in the region.

Challenges

The Tabi variety, which is a primary focus of the farm, became nearly obsolete in Colombia following the widespread adoption of the Castillo variety.

Innovations

The farm is noted for its efforts to revive the Tabi variety, which was developed by CENICAFÉ for its disease resistance and yield, but is now valued by the farm for its specific cup quality.
