The story

Volcan Azul is a multi-generational family farm with a history of coffee production spanning approximately 200 years. The estate was established by ancestors including Alejo C. Jiménez and Wilhelm Kahle, who began growing coffee to supply the European market. Today, the farm is managed by Alejo Castro Kahle, who continues the family legacy on the slopes of the Poás Volcano.
