Bekele Belaycho is an Ethiopian coffee producer based in the Bensa region who operates the Hora Ganet farm. He manages his own production while also sourcing and processing coffee cherries from over 100 neighboring smallholder farmers.

History

A longtime farmer, Bekele spent six years serving as a cooperative treasurer before transitioning to his independent operation. He previously sold coffee to local suppliers until he obtained his own export license in 2021 to facilitate direct trade with international markets.
