Bijao is a group of small coffee producers near La Plata in Huila, Colombia. Counter Culture encountered the group while exploring Huila’s offset harvest cycle for fresher Colombian coffee.
History
The group’s coffee was initially considered as a component for Gradient, but the lot’s distinctive chocolate, mixed-berry, and red-grape profile led Counter Culture to release it separately for single-origin subscribers.
