Eugene Altieri
Eugene Altieri is an Italian-American entrepreneur and the founder of Altieri Specialty Coffee, a family-owned estate based in Boquete, Panama. After moving to Panama in 1973 and spending years in the ice manufacturing industry, he transitioned into coffee production in 2005. He is recognized for establishing a highly successful specialty coffee brand that has consistently placed in national competitions.

Eugene Altieri entered the coffee industry in 2005 after acquiring two farms in Boquete without prior experience in coffee cultivation. He replanted the land with high-quality varieties and converted an existing ice plant into a coffee mill. Within a decade of operation, the estate began achieving significant recognition at the Best of Panama competition.
