José Prudencio Vargas
José Prudencio Vargas is a highly respected coffee producer and the founder of Valle Inca, an organization instrumental in refining specialty coffee production in southern Peru. Based at his home farm, El Mirante, he is recognized for his leadership in improving infrastructure and education for coffee farmers in the Cusco region.

After working in various farming roles and briefly serving as a bank loan officer, Vargas identified specialty coffee as a viable path for regional growth. He subsequently founded Valle Inca to support and elevate coffee producers across Cusco and beyond.
