History

Before entering the coffee industry, Pepe was a world-renowned mountaineer and the first Latin American to climb the Seven Summits, including Mount Everest. In 2010, he purchased Finca Soledad, a 120-hectare property that had previously suffered from mining and deforestation, and transformed it into a biodynamic coffee farm.
