Pepe Jijon is a well-known producer who previously established Finca Soledad, while his son Jose is an aspiring producer dedicated to high-quality coffee cultivation.

History

Pepe Jijon transitioned into coffee farming around 2010 after a career as a mountaineering guide. Following their success at Finca Soledad, the family and Francisco Vintimilla established Fincas del Putushio as a new project in the Loja region. This site focuses on applying lessons learned from their previous work to a high-altitude environment.
