History

After initially farming coffee in his youth, Manuel left the industry to work in the city due to low market prices. In 2010, he returned to coffee production by acquiring land in El Ocotillo, with Finca Los Primos seeing its first harvest in 2014. He currently splits his time between Houston, Texas, and his farm in Santa Barbara.
