Moisés Herrera and his wife, Marysabel Caballero, are world-renowned coffee producers based in the Marcala region of La Paz, Honduras. They are widely recognized as some of the most decorated coffee growers in the history of the Honduras Cup of Excellence competition. Their operation, which includes Finca El Puente, is noted for its professional management of the entire supply chain from seed to export.

History

Moisés Herrera and Marysabel Caballero have been producing specialty coffee for over two decades, with international roaster partnerships dating back to at least 2004. They manage over 300 hectares of land across several farms, maintaining control over quality through their own wet and dry mills. Their work has been instrumental in shifting the perception of Honduran coffee from a bulk commodity to a recognized specialty origin.
