Farm: Kagunyu Coffee Factory →History
Kagunyu Coffee Factory functions as one of three washing stations—alongside Thunguri and Gaikundu—managed by the Rumukia Coffee Farmer Society. The society supports nearly 1,200 members who cultivate coffee in the mineral-rich volcanic soils of Nyeri County. In recent years, the station has expanded its processing capabilities to include natural and experimental anaerobic natural coffees alongside traditional washed lots.
