Toldopamba is a family-run coffee operation in Nariño, Colombia, led by Carlos Torres Burbano and Angela Patiño Findlay. They work to improve coffee quality and farmer livelihoods by providing technical assistance and quality feedback to local producers in the Santafé community.
History
The Santafé community has produced coffee since the 1960s, historically selling to traders at minimum market prices. In 2016, Carlos Torres Burbano and Angela Patiño Findlay began working to help local farmers improve their coffee quality to secure higher premiums. They continue to manage the farm and support the surrounding community through technical and quality-focused initiatives.
