Worka Cooperative represents roughly 300 smallholder coffee farmers in Worka kebele, Gedeb woreda, in Ethiopia's Gedeo zone. Verve's documented natural lot comes from members' high-elevation garden farms.
History
Founded in 2005, Worka Cooperative is a member of the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU), which supports more than 45,000 smallholder farmers across the Gedeo zone through market access, producer advocacy, and sustainable growth.
