Kurume
Kurume is one of the two identified Arabica varieties grown at Suke Quto Farm in Guji. Partners Coffee documents it alongside Wolisho in the 2026 washed lot and notes that both remain heterogeneous from plant to plant.

At Suke Quto, Kurume shows meaningful plant-to-plant heterogeneity even though the variety can be identified on the farm.
Why producers grow it
Tesfaye Bekele reports that Kurume and Wolisho tend to deliver higher quality when grown and harvested together.
