Finca Don Amado

The story

Sandra and her late husband Amado began the farm after receiving a plot from his father in 2006. The family earned a Honduras Cup of Excellence recognition in 2010. Sandra assumed full management after Amado died in 2019. Verve and Anodyne disagree on Amado’s surname, so this record does not repeat the disputed surname.

Innovations

The farm manages release-specific processing. A documented washed lot used 15 hours of dry fermentation and slow drying in parabolic dryers; those parameters are not assigned to Verve’s separate honey lot.
