Finca San Francisco

The story

Finca San Francisco is a coffee farm located in western Honduras. It is one of three parcels of land inherited by the current owner, Roger Antonio Domínguez Márquez, from his father.

Challenges

The farm faces difficulties with pathogens and pests due to the susceptibility of its primary coffee varieties. Additionally, unseasonal rains have presented challenges for maintaining high-quality standards during the natural processing of coffee.

Innovations

The farm has incorporated newer coffee varieties such as gesha and parainema alongside traditional plantings to diversify its production.
