Sike Bokossa

The story

Sike Bokossa is a coffee-growing site located in the Guji region of Ethiopia. The 2025 harvest marked the first time that coffee from this specific site was separated and exported as an individual lot.

Challenges

The Sike Bokossa community does not possess its own washing station, requiring the coffee to be transported to the Halo Hartume site in neighboring Gedeb for processing and drying.

Innovations

The site has implemented a process of separating and isolating coffee lots specifically for export, which is a notable departure from the traditional practice of blending various Ethiopian varieties.
