Bavyeyi is a group of about 600 small-scale coffee producers in Ngozi Province, Burundi. It is led by and largely composed of women; members generally cultivate plots of half a hectare or less. JNP Coffee organizes, supports and exports the group's coffee but is not the sole grower.

History

Bavyeyi means “parents” in Kirundi and honors growers who use coffee income to educate their children. Partners Coffee bought from the group for a second recent year in 2026 through JNP Coffee.
