CENFROCAFE

CENFROCAFE, the Central Fronteriza del Norte de Cafetaleros, is a coffee cooperative based in Jaén, northern Peru. The Alto Ihuamaca release was a small community lot from five producers within the cooperative's network.

Counter Culture began working with CENFROCAFE in 2007 through a transparency contract focused on five communities near San Ignacio: Alto Ihuamaca, Bajo Ihuamaca, Unión Las Mercedes, Francisco Bolognesi, and Alto Bolognesi.
