Kanzu washing station
Kanzu is a prominent private washing station located in the Nyamasheke District of Rwanda's Western Province. It is widely recognized for setting high standards for Rwandan specialty coffee and serves a community of smallholder farmers who cultivate coffee in backyard garden plots.
Farm: Kanzu →History
The Kanzu washing station began operations in 2003. Following a period of financial instability for its previous owners, the station was purchased by C. Dorman in 2012, which led to significant investments in infrastructure, agronomic training, and quality control. The station has since become a consistent source for specialty coffee, notably maintaining a long-term partnership with Red Fox Coffee Merchants.
