La Perla Partner Smallholders
A group of smallholder coffee producers in Ixhuacán de los Reyes, Veracruz, and Quimixtlán, Puebla, whose high-elevation lots make up Verve's La Perla release.
History
Verve's La Perla project combines coffee sourcing with a 60-hectare research and nursery site. Twenty-five hectares are planted with coffee and the remaining land is preserved as forest; the project shares agricultural resources with neighboring producers.
