Nestor Lasso is a prominent Colombian coffee producer based in Pitalito, Huila, recognized for his experimental approach to processing and cultivation. Alongside his brother Adrian and partner Jhoan Vergara, he has established Finca El Diviso as a leading site for high-end specialty coffee production. His work is frequently featured by international roasters and used by competitors on the world stage.

History

Growing up as the son of a coffee farmer who sold to cooperatives, Nestor chose to pivot away from the commodity model after taking over the family land. He received training through SENA's specialty coffee processing program and began focusing on experimental fermentation protocols. He later partnered with Jhoan Vergara to expand their operations and research capabilities at El Diviso.
