Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society is a prominent coffee organization in Kirinyaga County, Kenya, that operates three processing factories including the renowned Kii Factory. Coffee cultivation in the Rungeto area dates back to the 1950s under the original Ngariama Cooperative. Following the collapse of the Ngariama Cooperative, the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society was established in 1997 to take over operations of the existing processing mills. The Kii Factory itself was originally constructed in 1965 and continues to serve as one of the society's busiest and most high-performing processing sites.
